⚙️. Create a project

Creating a new project in AppStruct is the first step toward turning your app ideas into reality. This guide will walk you through the process of starting a new project, selecting a template, and setting up your workspace.

Step 1: Initiate a New Project​

  1. Log In to Your Account: Visit appstruct.ai and log in using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Dashboard: After logging in, you'll be directed to your dashboard.
  3. Click on "Create New Project": On the Projects page, locate "+ Create New Project" card and click on it.
  4. Enter Project Name: A modal dialog box titled "New Project" will appear.
  • In the "Project Name" field, type a name for your project (e.g., "Food Delivery App").
  • Note: Project names can only contain letters, numbers, hyphens, and whitespaces.
  1. Click "Next": After entering a valid project name, click the "Next" button to proceed.

Step 2: Choose a Template​

AppStruct offers several options to help you get started quickly:

Option 1: Blank Mobile App

  • Description: Begin with a completely empty canvas.
  • Use Case: Ideal if you want to build your app from scratch without any predefined components.

Option 2: Screen from Image

  • Description: Utilize our AI technology to convert your design images into functional app screens.
  • How to Use:
  1. Select the "Screen from Image" option.
  2. Click on "Upload Design" and choose your design files (You can upload image, sketch or screenshot in PNG or JPG).
  3. Wait for the AI to process and generate the screens.
  4. Preview the generated screens and make adjustments if necessary.

Option 3: Ready Template

  • Description: Start with a pre-built template that includes functional components and logic.
  • Available Templates:
    • Login Page
    • Simple List
    • Product List
    • And more...

After creation, you'll be redirected to the AppStruct Editor where you can begin customizing your app.

Additional Information:​

  • Project Naming Tips:
    • Use descriptive names to easily identify your projects.
    • Avoid using special characters other than hyphens and whitespaces.
  • Changing Templates:
    • If you wish to change the template after project creation, you'll need to create a new project.
